
A) Instructor Courses (CITS)
Applications are invited by
advertisement through leading news papers, Employment news who fulfill the
below mentioned requirements for the admission to instructor course modules.
A1) Eligibility
& Preference
1. Candidate who are Matriculate between 18 to 40 year of age as on 30th
June of admission year and have passed .
5 years age relaxation for SC/ST is also
given.
2.
Diploma in Engineering or National Apprenticeship certificate (NAC) in the
concerned
trade or National Trade Certificate (NTC) with one year Practical
experience
in the concerned trade
3. The candidates Sponsored by Directors of States / Union
Territories in Charge dealing with crafts man Training scheme will be given
first preference . If seats falls vacant then these will be offered to
affiliated ITIs / ITCs , Govt. of India undertakings
and Industrial organizations on strictly first come first serve basis. There is
no age limit for the candidates sponsored by State Director.
4. For
the remaining seats unfilled after reserving for (2) & ( 3) above, the balance
seats will be offered to Private candidates, on Merit Basis only.
A2) Reservation

A3) Admission for Private Candidates
Remaining seats unfilled after
reserving for (1.1 point no 3) above, the balance seats will be
offered to Private candidates, on Merit Basis only. Merit is prepared on the
basis of marks obtained in Matric,10+2,
ITI, Apprenticeship, Diploma.
After admission the Instructor
Module commence from 1st August
every year.
A4) Fee Structure
1. Tuition Fee Rs.30/- per month (No fee is charged from the
Instructors
deputed by State Director/Govt. ITI
2. Caution Money Rs. 50/- Refundable
3. Hostel Rent Rs. 100/- per month
4. Service charges Rs. 10/- per year
5. Hostel caution money Rs. 25/- refundable
A5) Certification & Scholarship
Final trade test is conducted
in the end of every module
in Theory & practical subjects. Successful candidates who
have passed all
four modules are awarded the
“Certificate of Proficiency” certificate by the National Council of
Vocational Training (NCVT), Govt. of India, Ministry of Labour. They become eligible for
the appointment as Craft Instructors at Industrial Training Institutes. The Minimum
attendance of Candidate required is 80% and Pass marks 60% in theory
as well as Practical for getting craft instructor certificate. No scholarship is
granted.
A6) Hostel Accommodation
Moderate hostel accommodation
is available at a nominal rent and other charges as prescribed above at 1.4
A7) How to apply
Candidates desiring admission may contact the
Director, Advanced Training Institute, Gill road, Ludhiana PIN 141003(Punjab) and apply in the
prescribed in the application form obtained by depositing Rs.100/- (
cost of form Rs.25/- & Registration fee of Rs.75/-) in cash or uncrossed
Indian Postal order in favor of Drawing and Disbursing Officer (DDO), ATI
Ludhiana, Payable at Ludhiana only
and also enclose a self addressed unstamped envelop of size 11 x 25cm.
The form can also be obtained from institute counter between 9am to 4.30 pm on
all five working days by a payment of Rs.75/-. Admission Form for Instructor
course module can also be down loaded from the institute web site www:/atiludhiana.nic in. Last date of receipt of applications is normally kept 30th
June every year for module starting from August.

B3) Admission
Selection will be made on the
marks obtained in the public examination prescribed for the entrance
qualification for the trade & marks obtained in higher examinations. Admission to the
trades where the minimum entry qualification prescribed is 8th
class, entry test would be conducted by the institute to draw the merit List.
The mark sheet of 8th class should be countersigned by District
education Officer. After admission the MTI course commence from 1st August every
year.
B4) Fee Structure

B5) Certification, Scholarship & Stipend.
At the end of Training, Final trade test is
conducted in July every year in Theory & Practical subjects. Successful candidates are awarded the certificates by the National Council of
Vocational Training (NCVT), Govt. of India, Ministry of Labour. The Minimum attendance of Candidate required
is 80% and Pass marks is 40% in theory as
well as Practical.
50% of the total number of trainees
on roll or sanctioned seats, whichever is less will be entitle to get stipend
@ Rs.100/- per month on poverty cum Merit basis. 4% of total number of
trainees will be awarded merit Scholarship of Rs.125/- per month on the
basis of internal examination after six month of start of session. Free work
shop clothing will also be supplied to the trainees who has
to work on or near the moving machines.

Hostel accommodation
Limited hostel accommodation
with moderate facilities is available for Male candidates only. Contractor Based Mess facilities is also
available on monthly payment basis. Hostel rent and other charges are listed at
2.4 above.
B7) How to apply
The candidates desire to take
admission in MTI course should apply on prescribed applications form with two latest
Passport size photographs along with copies of certificates. Application form
may be obtained by depositing Rs.75/- ( cost of application form Rs.25/-
& registration charges Rs.50/-) from
the Director of Institute in cash or Indian Postal Order in favor of Drawing
and Disbursing officer (DDO), ATI , Payable at Ludhiana. Trainees can also down
